Special Programs at Dinosaur State Park

Throughout 2016, Dinosaur State Park will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the discovery of dinosaur tracks in Rocky Hill. As part of the celebration, the Friends of Dinosaur State Park and Arboretum (FDPA) is sponsoring a year-long giveaway of free prizes. Once a month on a Saturday, the park will give away 50 prizes. The first 50 families or individual visitors that pay admission to the Park will receive a unique gift. Different items will be given every month and may include books, posters, toys or videos.  Only one prize will be given per family.  Visit the Park often and collect all of them!

In addition, programs featuring topics related to the park, natural history and dinosaurs will be scheduled. The public is welcome and admission is usually free with park admission.  Activities at Dinosaur State Park are family-oriented.
