A Film About Dinosaur State Park
Visitors who view the film about Dinosaur State Park will now leave with a better understanding of the trackway and how it originated, the geology of the Connecticut Valley, and the park's place in natural history. The film, both informative and entertaining, includes beautiful footage of the Connecticut Valley, excerpts of the original track discovery, and exceptional animations which explain the formation of tracks, movement of the continents, and how rock layers are formed.

This 25-minute video, funded by a grant from the DEP's Supplemental Environmental Project fund, was produced by Mintz & Hoke of Avon for Dinosaur State Park. Michael Soares, who was a park staff naturalist, wrote the script and worked closely with the Avon agency during its production.
