View a Film: Films are shown on weekends, beginning at 10 a.m. Last showing begins at 3:30 p.m.
Make a craft: A craft area will be open on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Meet the park’s animals. These are scheduled on weekends only.
Track Talks. On weekends, a staff member will answer questions about the tracks and discuss what Connecticut was like in the early Jurassic period.
Mining Sluice - Weather permitting, the sluice is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. during school vacation weeks and on the weekends.
Dinosaur State Park Day
On August 21, 2010, the park celebrated the discovery of the tracks in Rocky Hill with a special one-day event. Outdoor activities included animal programs, crafts, games, music, and entertainers. All outdoor activities were free because of the sponsorship of the FDPA. Revisit our celebration.
